Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical fat removal and cellulite treatment.Mesotherapy is a painless technique where medication is injected into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and connective tissue under the skin. A very tiny needle (0.4 to 0.6cm or the size of an eyelash) is used for the injections. The medications that are used in Mesotherapy melt the fat beneath the skin and shrink the fat cells in the scarpa's fascia layer. The fat dissolves and is excreted by the kidneys and bowels.

Cellulite is caused by connective tissue bands that hold down the skin, trapping the fat and thereby causing the "dimpling" effect. The medications used in Mesotherapy permanently destroy the connective tissue bands and melt the trapped fat, creating a smooth, dimple-free appearance.

For weight loss, spot weight reduction and cellulite treatment medications are injected directly to the area being treated. Treatments are administered weekly and patients usually begin seeing results by the fourth treatment. After 10 treatments, patients see a significant decrease in size, improved skin tone and smoothing of cellulite. Typically patients lose 4 – 10 inches or up to two dress sizes in 10 weeks.

Areas that will benefit from the spot fat removal are the abdomen, waist, arms, double chin, love handles, bra bulge, saddle bags and inner thigh bulge.
Adults between the ages of 18 – 75 and in good health are candidates for Mesotherapy. Side effects are generally limited to slight bruising. The bruises usually fade within one week.
